The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (IPER), in cooperation with the Association of Old Crafts and Skills NIT, within the project “Preservation and development of traditional Montenegrin crafts – gold embroidery”, announces :

Call for the creation of a conceptual solution

for the product with gold embroidery motive

We invite all interested to express their creativity and suggest the conceptual solution  for the product with the motive of a unique Montenegrin gold embroidery by transposing ornaments in gold embroidery from the collar of the Montenegrin women’s shirt.

TERMS

We espect that through the conceptual solution , the golden embroidery will be used in a new, modern and different way and on the objects that are close to modern buyers/ tourists, while respecting  the old technique of  gold embroidery that is represented on the collar of the Montenegrin women’s shirt.

The material on which it is possible to transfer the created golden motive (which is connected to the panes) must be available, i.e. that it is possible to buy it in Montenegro.

The submitted proposals must be in digital vector format in color version and in pdf.

The authors of the conceptual decisions selected by the expert commission will be paid a fee in the amount of 250,00€ in gross amount.

Based on selected conceptual solutions, prototypes will be developed  in order to create three new products, which the Association of Old Crafts and Skills Nit will offer to the market.

It is possible to deliver more than one application.

APPLICATION MODE

The application must contain a textual description of the conceptual solution of the product.

The application should be submitted in a sealed main envelope containing two also sealed envelopes:

  1. Envelope No. 1 shall contain:

– Conceptual product solution with explanation, printed unilaterally on office paper. On each paper in the lower right corner must be the code under which the author is applying.

– CD with the conceptual solution of the product in digital vector form. On the CD-ROM must be entered  the code under which the author is registered.

  1. Envelope No. 2 shall contain:

– Applicant’s basic information, printed unilaterally on office paper:

Name, address and number, shelter, contact telephone and e-mail.

Applicants should submit the main envelopes to the following address :

Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Kralja Nikole 27a / 4, 81000 Podgorica.

The front of the envelope should include the description  „Application for a public call for the creation of a conceptual solution for the product with gold embroidery motive“.

The code is composed of letters and numerical characters, which in no way compromise the applicant’s anonymity. The same code must be entered on entire documentation. In case an individual/team want to compete with different proposals, each proposal has different code.

When choosing, the envelope number 1 is first opened, and after making the final decision, envelope number 2, all in order to preserve the anonymity of the applicants.

The deadline for submitting the application is July 5,2019.

Announcement about the selected applications will be posted on the IPER site in July.
