For the eleventh time, the Fund for Active Citizenship – fAKT is organizing a national competition for green ideas and lasts until April 30. The competition is organized with the intention of encouraging the development of innovative entrepreneurial ideas, which are based on the principles of sustainable development.
Individuals, non-governmental organizations, agricultural farms, cooperatives as well as small companies and entrepreneurs can apply for the competition. The aim of the competition is to recognize and support ideas that have the potential to achieve significant social and economic impact in local communities, while preserving natural resources and the environment.
The three best ideas will take part in the regional evaluation of the Green Ideas of the Balkans competition, which will be held in September, organized by the Balkan Green Foundation.
The total prize pool is $ 40,000, with individual prizes ranging from $ 5,000 to $ 10,000, depending on the stage of development of the green idea.
