The „Centerville“ 07/11/2019. held a round table on the theme: „Open with industry regarding barriers.“ The roundtable was organized by the the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (IPER) and Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA).
In addition to the organizers, the event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the Council for Competitiveness, Administration for prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the Secretariat of Competitiveness. Also, the Roundtable was attended by representatives of the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce, Union of Employers and the American Chamber of Commerce.
The Round Table discussed the analysis of business regulation where it is analyzed more systemic laws important for the quality of the business environment. They emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the private and the public sector, because it is a necessary condition in order to come to the most optimal solutions for the business and its development. In this regard, the Executive Director of MBA, Milan Dragic, stressed the importance of joint actions of business associations in order to achieve greater influence on the decision makers, which is supported by the participants of the Round Table.
Business representatives have emphasized the importance of such meetings for the development of the private sector in Montenegro, which, as pointed out in particular that should be organized more often.
