„Entrepreneurship Buster“ – a project implemented by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development in cooperation with the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro, entered the final phase of implementation, which was recently marked by the final conference in Kolašin.
At the conference, the impressive results of the project were presented, the key findings of the conducted Research on the awareness of the general public about youth entrepreneurship and Research among young entrepreneurs about their barriers and needs. Then, created policy paper was presented, which includes recommendations for improving the business environment of young entrepreneurs and recommendations for increasing employment among young people in Montenegro, which will be delegated to relevant decision makers in the aforementioned area.
Through the project, 20 young entrepreneurs from 10 less developed municipalities (of which 12 men and 8 women are business owners) were supported, the knowledge and skills of 52 unemployed persons, their competitiveness and mobility in the market were improved, and 26 new jobs were created.
Twenty grant winners gathered at the final conference, collected their impressions and shared the positive experiences they had in the implementation of the project. Together with their newly hired colleagues, they are ready and empowered for new endeavors in the future.
The project left a strong mark on the development of entrepreneurship and employment of young people in less developed municipalities, and the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development and the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro say that they continue with activities that economically empower young people.
