Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development is implementing the project ‘Youth Business – Mentoring and Education Program for Young Entrepreneurs’ in the period May 2018 – June 2019, with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project aims to support the development of entrepreneurship among young people in Montenegro.

The project envisages that mentors who are already experienced entrepreneurs, over a period of 7 months, monitor the work of young entrepreneurs in a structured way, provide them with advice and transfer knowledge and experience. After the published public calls, we have 11 mentors and 18 young entrepreneurs who are cooperating intensively. In order to better implement the mentoring process, we have created a Handbook for mentors and entrepreneurs – ‘How to get the most out of the mentoring process?’.

At the same time, trainings are organized for young entrepreneurs on topics of their choice by filling out the questionnaire. In addition, we organize thematic gatherings and networking opportunities with the aim of solving specific problems they face with.
