In the municipalities of Niksic and Bijelo Polje, on Thursday and Friday (March 17 and 18), an information session was held on the project “Entrepreneurial Buster” aimed at reducing unemployment in less developed municipalities, through grants of financial support to young entrepreneurs.

The events were attended by 70 young people who could hear more details about the call and the application procedure for it from the representatives of the organizations implementing the program, the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development – IPER and the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro (UMPCG).

“Entrepreneurial Buster” motivates young entrepreneurs to develop and hire by providing them with non-refundable financial support of € 7,500 per newly created workplace. On the website of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development www.iper.org.me and on the website of the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro www.umpcg.me, all interested can be informed with the details of the call, which is open until March 23, 2022. until 4:00 PM.

As could be heard in the info sessions, support is intended for existing young entrepreneurs who should use this grant to train the unemployed persons, procure materials and equipment, and create new work places, for a period that is not less than six months after the project is completed.

The project is implemented by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (IPER) in cooperation with the Union of Young Entrepreneurs of Montenegro (UMPCG), co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Montenegro within the EU-Montenegro Program for Employment, Education and Social Protection. in cooperation with the Directorate for Financing and Contracting of EU Funds, the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare and the Department for European Integration, Programming and Implementation of EU Funds of the Ministry of Economic Development.
